Route 518, and its weekday peak-hour express counterpart, the X18, are bus routes which run from Circular Quay to service Victoria Road and Top Ryde City. The 518 continues to Macquarie University via Quarry Road, Tallwood Avenue and Herring Road, whereas the X18 terminates at Colvin Crescent at Denistone East.

During weekday evening peak hours, the 518 is supplemented by three PrePay express services of the X18, which originate from Harrington Street near Grosvenor Street (Stop 2000166), which do not stop between Kent Street, City and Lyons Road, Drummoyne. The X18 terminates at Colvin Crescent at Denistone East.
