Volvo B10B, Route 483 inbound

The Volvo B10B was a non-wheelchair-accessible bus used in the Sydney Buses fleet. The buses are not air-conditioned and the body is a Custom Coaches '238'.

History[]

The four buses (fleet numbers 3558-3561) were originally built for North & Western Bus Lines in 1996. They were transferred to State Transit's Burwood depot in December 1999, then to Newcastle in 2013, where they ran school services. Due to privatisation, they were handed over to Keolis Downer (Newcastle Transport) in 2017. They were withdrawn in September 2020 and sold to various charter companies.

The buses were painted by State Transit in the Corporate v1 (blue and white with thin red line) livery.
